Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday said that recent developments in the state have helped create a more conducive and positive atmosphere for the youth, enabling them to engage constructively in education, employment, and social activities.
Addressing a gathering, Mehbooba Mufti noted that improvements in the security situation, increased outreach programs, and focused youth-centric initiatives have collectively contributed to restoring confidence among young people across the region. She emphasized that peace and stability are essential for harnessing the potential of the youth and steering them away from negative influences.
The Chief Minister highlighted various government measures aimed at skill development, entrepreneurship, and employment generation, stating that these initiatives are beginning to show encouraging results. According to her, opportunities in education, sports, and vocational training are helping the youth channel their energy toward productive avenues.
Mehbooba Mufti further stressed the importance of sustained dialogue and inclusive governance to ensure long-term stability. She urged young people to actively participate in the development process and take advantage of the opportunities being created for their growth.
