The Crimson scratch across the sky is oozing
Red milk; bitter and hot.
Is that how God bleeds?!
Or is it just what it is-
An indifferent sky above us
Feeding red mana
To the ungrateful hungry…
You cannot burn the darkness,
That has crept into your blind eyes,
By all the lightening you gather.
Eyes that have been spun by a spider
Over a lifetime of deceit.
We wander in catacombs of time
I- the future.
All we hear are echoes of each other.
You can gather the dew at the day break
If your hands are petals.
Perhaps it is these mountains:
They surround us all around.
Perhaps we were meant to be trapped.
In a curfew what else can one do
But count the heart beats!-
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
1, 2, 3, 5, 6 .
1, 3 4, 5.
1, 3, 4.
There is a plague out there,
on the street that resists its own desolation.
It is called life.
It will always find ways to survive.
That is what it does-
S U R V I V E
At the edge of my dreams
Someone is singing
An ancestral lullaby
I can feel the winter of her voice
As the snow melts in my veins
and I am rushing into
Her open arms
Spread like icicles.
We shall embrace and melt
Into a memory
That a thousand sons of mine shall inherit.
