I cry
I wail
I mourn,
Rain soaked
Embracing an hour-long
pseudo worldly charm.
Forgotten are my vows,
To be steadfast like
my ancestors!

Yet again,
I cry
I wail
I mourn,
Blood letting
in this ill-fated land,
Reminded by innocent
tulip buds,
What yesterday was and
what today is!

I cry
I wail
I mourn,
Hundreds of years
of repetition seen,
Pseudo vows ever
forgotten,
Akin to algae growth
of Dal Lake!

I cry
I wail
I mourn,
A failure am I
Forever to be mocked,
Blood for sale daily,
As water to the fertile soil
Martyrs of my land! Martyrs of my land!

I cry
I wail
I mourn
For the past and the future!
