Downtown traders seek augmentation of basic facilities


The traders of Downtown here have urged the authorities to augment basic facilities in view of upcoming holy month of Ramadhan. 
The traders under the banner of Shaher-e-Khaas Traders Coordination Committee held a meeting to discuss issues confronting the Old City.  “We demand continuous power supply during sehri and iftaar time. Besides we demand transport facilities during evening hours. We also appeal the SMC authorities to take measures for checking growing population of stray dogs in Downtown,” said Nazir Ahmad Shah, chairman of Shaher-e-Khaas Traders Coordination Committee
Among other who participated in the meeting including president Bashir Kenu, vice-chairman Irfan Wani.
