South Kashmir: Pulwama shuts for 2nd consecutive day against civilian, militant killings


A complete shutdown is being observed in Pulwama town in south Kashmir for the second consecutive day today against the civilian and militant killings.
Three militants were killed in Arwani village of Anantnag during an encounter on Friday. Two civilians were killed after forces opened fire to disperse protesters marching towards the encounter site to help the militants escape.
All shops and other business establishments remained closed in the town while public transport is off the roads.
No separatist or militant outfit has called for the strike today.
