Protestors blocked road in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district following unavailability of ambulance driver at the local hospital on Sunday.
Reports said people blocked Manigam highway in the district, after they found out that an ambulance driver was not on duty at a local hospital at Lar village of the district following a referral of an accident case to super specialty hospital.
Earlier, a man identified as Nazir Ahmad from the village was injured in an accident and was later taken to local hospital, where doctors referred him for specialized treatment.
Chief Medical officer Ganderbal Dr Roshan din Kasana told Greater Kashmir that he is on way to the village.
