Life returned to normal in south Kashmir areas on Monday after a three-day shutdown to mourn the killing of three militants and two civilians.
However, shutdown continues in Anantnag town and Kulgam district on the fourth consecutive day.
Kulgam was the home district of slain Lashkar commander Junaid Mattoo.
Shutdown is being observed in Anantnag town of south Kashmir today to commemorate the death anniversary of Muslim United Front (MUF) leader and founder of Ummat-e-Islami Qazi Nisar.
Shops and other business establishments have opened in Pulwama, Shopian and Anantnag districts.
