Militants offer gun salute to Naikoo

Militants offered a gun salute to Muhammad Ishaq Naikoo, father of a Jaish militant, who died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday in a village in Shopian.
Sources said that four to five militants appeared on the grave of the deceased at Meemender Shopian and offered the gun salute.
Naikoo had suffered a massive heart attack after he heard on the grapevine that his militant son Zeenat-ul-Islam was trapped in a siege by the government forces in an adjoining village.
The news came as a shock to Naikoo. He couldn’t take it knowing that it was the end of Zeenat. Naikoo suffered a massive heart attack and died soon after.
The rumours later turned out to be false.
