Malik speaks to Sharif, offers condolences

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Yasin Malik on Wednesday spoke to former Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif over phone and offered his condolences over the demise of Kulsoom Nawaz, Sharif’s wife.
The conversation occurred when Yasin’s wife Mushaal Mullick, her daughter Baby Razia Sultana and mother Rehana Mullick visited the bereaved family and met Sharif, a JKLF spokesman said in a statement.
“Late Kulsoom was a brave, selfless, honorable lady who made her mark as first lady, as a political and social figure and left her mark in every field. The dignity with which she carried herself as the first lady of Pakistan is also a glaring example of her dignified self,” the spokesman quoted Yasin Malik having said while expressing solidarity with Sharif and the entire Sharif family.
“The JKLF prayed for heavenly abode of the departed soul and sabr-jameel to the bereaved,” the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, JKLF has condoled the demise of Muhammad Yousuf Bazaz of Batamaloo who breathed his last today.
