Abdul Rasheed Ganie passes away in Rawalpindi


A senior resistance activist Abdul Rasheed Ganaie alias Muhammad Akram passed away at Rawalpindi on Friday
Akram (51) breathed his last after suffering heart attack. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him dead.  
Hailing from Braripora area of Nawakadal in Downtown here, Akram migrated to Pakistani administered Kashmir in early 1990s. After getting married, he started his own business and was currently living with his small family in Muzaffarabad.
The deceased was laid to rest at a graveyard in Muzaffarabad. The funeral prayer of the deceased was attended by a large number of people including the members of Kashmiri migrant community. He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
