‘Misbehaviour’ with a doctor triggers protests at Sopore hospital

Doctors working in the sub-district hospital, Sopore on Saturday went on a two-hour pen down strike to protest ‘misbehaviour’ of some employees with a colleague.
They alleged the employees working on hospital development fund (HDF) thrashed a doctor without any reason. The incident triggered protest by doctors at the hospital demanding action against the accused.
Meanwhile, president of Doctors Association Kashmir, Dr Suhail Nayak has asked the hospital authorities to provide security to doctors while on duty. He said that they would register a police complaint and demanded action against the accused.
