While addressing a press conference Singh shared shocking information received under RTI from Directorate of Health Jammu.  “184 out of 259 PHC’s, NPHC’s & CHC’s in the hilly and remotest areas of almost all the districts of Jammu province are running without any doctor. Information further reveals a shortage of 982 doctors in health sectors of Jammu Province as there are only 1073 doctors who are in position against the sanctioned strength of 1926 doctors where as 129 doctors are working as surplus in different districts of Jammu Province out of which 93 doctors are working as Surplus in Jammu District alone,” he said.
