Applications on plain paper indicating name, permanent address, address for correspondence, telephone number, date of birth, educational qualification (10th onwards), e-mail, experience, are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary position (co- terminus) in DBT sponsored research project as detailed below:
Name of post: Research Assistant (1).
Emoluments per month: Rs. 36,000.00 + 20% HRA/ month.
Essential Qualification : Ph. D. in Entomology.
Desirable: NET, National fellowship, award and experience in research/teaching.
Terms and Conditions:
- The appointment shall be governed as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z09/2012 Dated 21.10.2014.
- The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill the position, depending on the qualifications/credentials of the candidates.
- Appointment is initially for 6 months and likely to continue till the termination of project. It is purely a contractual post and can be terminated without assigning any reason.
- The services of the incumbent shall stands terminated automatically on expiry of the project with no claim of absorption against any temporary/regular post in the University.

Eligible candidates will be interviewed on 30-05-2019 (in case of holiday the interview shall be conducted on next working day) in the office of Director Research, SKUAST-Jammu at 11:30 A.M.
